A WAY TOWARDS A TOTAL COMMITMENT

            Come Sano Come Justo Co-operative Society has been created as a supportive, non-profit project, whose primary goal is to establish a springboard that generates income to invest in social assistance and human aid projects.

            The Come Sano Come Justo's prospects are not only geared towards a one-way transference of welfare. They are also aimed at creating a broad social commitment which, precisely, starts by supporting every kind of ecological production, since this is framed within a sustainable development model and deserves the support that the conventional market has frequently denied it.

            The Come Sano Come Justo shop offers its customers handmade products and garden produce that have been generated from environmentally-friendly and health sensitive methods; thus, it contributes to the development of this type of production, and the profits are allocated to meet the needs of disadvantaged individuals and social groups.

            The bigger the success of our shop, the greater the profit obtained by the eco-friendly producers and the larger the profit margin to aid social assistance projects.

            The Come Sano Come Justo shop also intends to represent itself as a feasible model for social integration, by incorporating people with physical or mental disabilities to make up 50% of its personnel. The success of our proposal aims to serve as an example to other businesses when it comes to employing personnel with fewer options in the labour market.

            The desirable expansion of Come Sano Come Justo will allow new outlets to open in our city as well as in others. In this way, not only the stimulus of ecological production would be reinforced, but also new areas on a local level, such as ecological bakeries, could be encouraged.

            To begin with, Come Sano Come Justo aims to be a centre for raising awareness among the population of Valladolid with regard to promoting ecological production as well as  solidarity and social justice in gastronomic, cultural and human encounters.
